They enjoy a relaxed family life with their daughter in the Southern Highlands of NSW. (Yes, it’s a long daily commute, but worth it.)
Nicole has dedicated the past 12 years to the field of health care. She is a professional, degree-qualified acupuncturist and Chinese herbal medicine practitioner, holding a four-year Bachelor of Health Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS). She is a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA Member Number 2631), and registered with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMR0001709647).
Nicole is passionate about treating women’s health and fertility, and participates in ongoing professional education to further her expertise. She keeps up-to-date with the latest research in fertility treatments.
As a mother she has a deep appreciation of the desire to have a baby and the challenges women face.
Nicole also holds a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education from the Queensland University of Technology.
In 2011 and 2012 Nicole was invited to teach university students in both Chinese medicine and Western medical health science at UTS.
When not in clinic, Nicole can be found looking after her daughter, indulging her love of gardening, cooking delicious home-grown food, and keeping an eye over a flock of naughty chooks.
Trevor is a professional, degree-qualified acupuncturist and Chinese herbal medicine practitioner, holding a four-year Bachelor of Health Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS). He is a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA Member Number 2834), and registered with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMR0001710925).
He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Southern Cross University, and a Graduate Diploma of Health and Physical Education from the University of Technology, Sydney. Prior to his role as a Chinese medicine practitioner, Trevor enjoyed a successful professional career in the fields of exercise physiology, and health & physical education in Australia, Italy and the UK.
Trevor’s main clinical focus is the treatment of pain. His 8 years of education in Western medical science and traditional Chinese medicine gives Trevor a rare set of skills as an acupuncturist and allows him to bridge the gap between the two medical systems. Having a comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology enables Trevor to accurately identify the location and cause of your pain and the best way to treat it.
In the sporting arena Trevor has a background in cycling (road and mountain bike), triathlon, golf, basketball, and the sport he loves most, skiing.
Trevor’s favourite past-times are sharing a baby-cino and marshmallow with his daughter at the local village cafe, home renovations, and listening to jazz.
